Day 2 - Matthew 23

Dalton beat me posting for today's reading.  Here is his comment on today's reading:

"I think the main message in this chapter is to practice what you preach or to not be hypocritical. I think the lesson I can learn in this chapter is to practice what I preach. I can apply this to my life today. For example, I don't need to say something and go out and do another."

The key verse for me in this chapter was verse 11-12:  The greatest among you will be your servant. For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.

In our world, people are encouraged to scratch, claw and climb your way to the front and to the top.  In God's eyes, if we want to be great, we need to be willing to serve others.  How can I serve others today?
