February 11, Mark 2

Today's Bible passage should have rung a bell two separate times--the story of the paralyzed man which we talked about a few weeks ago in KFC and the story about the Pharisees being upset that the disciples were picking grain on the Sabbath which Pastor Jeff talked about a couple weeks ago.

One key phrase that stuck out to me was verse 8:  "Immediately Jesus knew in his spirit that this was what they were thinking in their hearts..."  Did you ever think about the fact that God knows not just what you say but what you are thinking?  That's convicting and encouraging.  Convicting in the fact that we need to filter what goes into our mind so that we think on things that would honor and please him.  Encouraging because he knows what is on our mind or what is worrying us or what we are concerned about.  If he knows about it, we may as well talk to him about it.  Have a conversation with God about your concerns. He truly cares about every detail of your life.

What on YOUR mind today?  Take it to the Lord--he knows already!
I love each of you!
Dianne
