February 14 - Mark 3

The thing that stood out to me in our passage was the different way  the people we read about today responded to Jesus.

• Those in the "church" were skeptical and tried to find a reason to accuse Jesus
• The man with the withered hand probably marveled at Jesus' ability to heal him
• The crowds obviously knew there was something special about him because they followed him wherever he went
• The disciples were willing to leave everything to know him better
• His own family thought he had lost his mind

Regardless of how others respond to Jesus, it boils down to this one thing:  How do I respond to Him?  That's the question each of us will be asked one day as we stand before Him.  What will your response be?
